WHIPPED 100% SHEA BUTTER Made from the nut of the African Shea Tree,
100% Whipped Shea Butter. Shea butter has been whipped to a very soft
and creamy texture that is easier to apply.
Shea Butter is
superior to other butters because it contains a rich amount of fatty
acid. This fatty acid is crucial for optimum moisture in the skin. Shea
butter also provides all essential vitamins that help make skin look and
feel smoother, softer, more vibrant. It nourishes and protects against
harsh weather and sun. It heals wounds and repairs damaged skin by
stimulating cellular activity.
Also perfect for conditioning the hair!
Where Does Shea Butter Come From?
Shea butter is made from the nuts of the Karite tree in Africa. The nuts are cracked open, then roasted to give the butter a nice consistency. Afterwards, the butter is scooped out of the nuts, kneaded to make it more spreadable, and then checked for quality before it is shipped to us in the U.S. Once the shea butter arrives here, it is double-checked to make sure it is in the best possible condition.
You can also buy filtered shea butter which has been passed through clay filters repeatedly to make the consistency smoother and to ensure that there are no particles of the nut shell in the butter. Some people also prefer filtered shea butter because it doesn't have as strong of a nutty aroma. Some people like the nutty aroma though, so it's a personal choice you'll have to make!
Shea butter has been used for generations in Africa to keep skin young and healthy, remove stretch marks, and even to help babies sleep better.
How Shea Butter Has Helped Others:
"The shea butter made my skin feel wonderful. I can't wait to share this information with more of my friends. It is also great for the feet in summer weather when you wear sandals all the time. I think you might have a life time customer."
- Vivian from North Wales, PA
"This type of shea butter is the best for eczema! I am so happy that I found this. My son's eczema was completely healed with this type of shea butter, no other creams (even medicated steroid creams) were able to do this. This shea butter heals the skin and leaves it soft and beautiful!"
